The initial health appraisal seeks to determine your child's current health status, nutrient status and dietary requirements and is a thorough assessment of their health. You will receive a client info form to fill in before your appointment, which will give our naturopath a good indication of your child's medical history and family health strengths and weaknesses.
The consult is spent discussing your child's current symptoms/health concerns, eating habits, and past medical history. The naturopath will do several tests like tongue diagnosis, nail diagnosis, iridology and food intolerance testing to assess their vitamin and mineral levels and help give you relevant dietary advice. They may prescribe herbal medicines or supplements if necessary.
