Five-Spice Tuna Tataki - Serves 2
Ingredients
2x 200G Tuna Steaks
1 TBSP ground black pepper
2TBSP Sesame Oil
2 TBSP Soy Sauce (or Wheat Free Tamari )
2 medium garlic cloves (crushed)
½ tsp five spice powder
1 small daikon (white) radish, grated
TIP: Serve with steamed basmati or brown rice + salad
Method
Roll tuna steaks in black pepper.
Heat 1 TBSP sesame oil in fry pan over high heat. Sear tuna for 2 mins each side.
Remove to chopping board and thinly slice.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, 1 TBSP sesame oil, garlic + five spice powder.
Add rice to serving plates. Add sliced tuna + spoon sauce on top.
