The zinc tally test is used to assess your current zinc levels and detect zinc deficiency. Zinc is an important mineral in the boichemistry of wound healing, immunity, hormone production, energy production, digestion (particularly protein digestion), liver protection and blood/glucose regulation. As WA soils are zinc deficient, many of us do not get enough zinc in our diets. Zinc is also depleted by smoking, some prescription drugs, the contraceptive pill/injection, stressl cafine and alcohol consumption.
